Overwatch is Blizzard’s first original new IP in a very long time. Coming from the cancelation of Titan, Overwatch’s design marks another attempt by Blizzard to enter the competitive multiplayer scene. While this may look like Team Fortress by way of Blizzard, there is a lot of smart design taken from MOBAs present.
Factorio has been in development for several years now and recently made the move to Steam and Early Access. While the game may look like a survival title, this is all about logistics and should be a must play for city builder fans.
Killing Floor 2 is the sequel to the incredibly popular horde-based shooter from Tripwire Interactive. The developers are going for the bigger is better approach; featuring a new graphics engine and updating the gameplay. The developers have gone to early access this time (which you can read more about in my interview,) and while it’s not done yet, there is plenty of blood and gore to go around.
Today’s kickstarter alert comes from a suggestion of Chris Gardiner, my friend from Failbetter Games. They’ve started to help new Indie developers with their Incubation Program to get their foot in the door with their concepts and their first member launched a kickstarter for an interesting game: A House of Many Doors, and trust me, that name hides a whole lot about the game.
