A Sunday Edition/Monday Posting of the Perceptive Podcast

Role-playing survival game is willing to take risks

This week we certainty waited until the last day of the week to do the recording. With Ken away at a convention, returning guest Lorson Poirier filled in as substitute co-host.

perceptive podcast

We started off talking about the recent firing from Nintendo of their top indie guy Dan Adelman. This started a conversation about the problems with Nintendo and we just happened to throw another dig at EA in just because.

Then talking about games this week, I mentioned my second attempt at playing Godus with the new patch as well as Killer is Dead. And Lorson talked about the twin stick shooter Really Big Sky.

Lastly we talked a bit about game journalism and the impact of both Total Biscuit and the Yogscast accepting money to spotlight games. We also brought up how the state of game journalism has changed over the years and what this could mean down the line.
