Continuing my podcast series with developers who went the Early Access route, I’ve welcomed back Tim Keenan from Misfits Attic to talk about developing Duskers.
The Flame in the Flood has been finally released after both a successful kickstarter and Early Access period. Studio Molasses Flood is made up of former Irrational Games members who worked on Bioshock Infinite. While the title may look similar to other survivalist games out there, the river has a few twists and turns to it.
Hand of Fate is one of the most surprising games I’ve played in a while; combining three different genres of design and play into one unique title. While it doesn’t reach the depth of each individual genre, it’s definitely a case where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Darkest Dungeon has been on my must play list since the first day I saw the Kickstarter promo for it. After months of early access playtesting and new content, the game is finally ready for 1.0. Darkest Dungeon is a brutal game that hits all the rogue-like and Lovecraft notes almost perfectly.
