Last week’s kickstarter spotlight for the Untold Story of Japanese Game Developers gave me an idea for another blog series. For this one, I want to talk about some of my favorite games from Japan. To make things interesting, I’m not going to talk about those that I’ve already featured in one way or another. Meaning no Xenoblade Chronicles, Demon’s Souls or The World Ends With You.
Let’s begin with one of the craziest games on the Gamecube that introduced Western gamers to the man known as Suda 51.
One of my favorite indie studios is Cryptic Comet, headed by Vic Davis, the studio has put out several mechanic rich strategy titles in the last few years. His latest title: Occult Chronicles is now available for beta buy-in and I had a chance to try it out.
After some comments from people and the problems we had recording I decided to take down the cast this week. We’ll have the audio issues straightened out for next week. Have a good weekend everyone.
As you probably know, E3 is going on this week with the major developers and console makers (except for Nintendo) putting on elaborate conferences to showcase their upcoming games and the big news being the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
But where many gamers have been questioning the decisions of Microsoft, Sony showed up and in the eyes of the general consumer, won the next gen war before it started.
