In this part, a trip to the warrens leads to diseases aplenty for my team. Hilariously this also leads to my Leper geting rabies and actually being a benefit to my party.
For today’s cast, I had the absolute pleasure of talking to Seth Sivak, co-founder of Proletariat about what it takes to make a successful game in today’s market and how he’s applying that to his studio’s first game World Zombination.
In this part, I did two very crazy things. First is that I took on a long quest without having healers to get one of the best trinkets in the game right now. Afterwards I went after the second necromancer fight with a party of level 3 characters and as the title of this part hints, I was successful both times.
When Nintendo originally unveiled the Nintendo DS, many critics scoffed at the functionality that two screens and more specifically touch screens would bring to the handheld market. To win them over, Nintendo needed a hit and they got one with Kirby Canvas Curse which remains one of the best games from the Kirby brand and one of the best uses of the touch screen on the DS. Now the series has moved onto the Wii-U with Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, featuring a brand new art style which unfortunately doesn’t cover up the downgrade in the gameplay department.
