This is the recap video of our indie game spotlight stream for the month of January 2020. All games were played with press keys submitted by developers. If you would like me to look at your game in a future spotlight, please get in touch.
The idle genre has been one of the easiest to design games around, but the hardest in terms of iterating on. Leave it too simple and people get bored, complicate things too far and they’ll get pushed away. For my #7 pick, we have a game that embodies the idle design, but adds to it in great ways.
This is the third part of our indie developer spotlight for the month of November 2019.
You can get in touch to submit games for future pieces. One correction – Skybolt Jack is not the correct name, it’s Skybolt Zack
Part 2 continues our look at the indie games we showcased for the month of November 2019. Part 1 is here. Please get in touch if you would like to submit a game, as all games played were played with press keys.
Be sure to check out the Game-Wisdom Discord if you like to talk about game design topics and the industry
