Today’s Critical Thought is all about the biggest mistake from Nintendo and one of those “truth is stranger than fiction,” moments. Nintendo came really close to securing the Game Industry, but one decision would come back to haunt them forever. One correction: I said Square-Enix when I meant SquareSoft.

For today’s Critical Thought, I’m talking about the time that Nintendo angered the entire game industry over their demands during the NES era. Nintendo has always had a trouble with third party development, and this is easily one of the biggest reasons why.
