The stealth genre has grown in different directions from the early works of games like Metal Gear and Wolfenstein. Being able to move around undetected has been implemented by action games, horror games, and even strategy games. Stealth design has evolved over the years with varying characters and situations. Recently playing through the game 2Dark, I found its stealth design to be lacking. Creating a good stealth game relies on four key areas of thought and what they mean about playing the game.
The Marvelous Miss Take by Wonderstruck is a stylish stealth game built around being a professional thief. While it may lack the grittiness of realistic stealth games, this game definitely has the bite and frustration of the stealth genre.
