This week on the cast, I had a chance to sit down with veteran developers Paul Reiche and Fred Ford — Makers of Star Control 2, one of my favorite games of all time. With the announcement of their sequel, we talked about the design of Star Control 2, and their plans for Ghosts of the Precursors.
We only had about an hour to talk, but we focused on the development of Star Control 2 and what made the game stand out from its peers. I had some fan-submitted questions to ask Paul and Fred as well.
For our final topic, we talked about why they’re doing Ghost of the Precursors and some of their ideas for the game.
