This week on the cast, I spoke with Jeremiah Ingham of Arclight Worlds on the development of his rogue-like/metroidvania game Venture Forth.
We started off with introductions and how Jeremiah came up with the idea for the game. Jeremiah’s story of coming up with the game involved spelunking in a giant cave. We spoke about the idea of combining rogue-like and metroidvania elements to create the game.
We also spoke about what it’s like being a first-time indie developer in today’s market and how he’s finding it. For our final topic, we spoke more about the development of the game and what’s going on with Early Access.
