This week on the Perceptive Podcast, I welcomed back Ernest Adams to conclude our talk about the Game Industry and recent trends.
We started off where we ended last time, which was talking about game design. We talked about Nintendo, the toys to life genre as well as examining the appeal and marketing of difficult games like Rogue-likes with their design. I also asked Ernest about his opinion on whether or not there is any segment of the Game Industry that could be crashing.
For our other major topic, I asked Ernest about his thoughts on the industry becoming more inclusive to women and that brought us to talking about Gamergate; why we don’t support it, how it really got started and we attempted to bust some of the popular defenses that the hardcore supporters of it use.

- And finally, the IGDA have begun offering resources for people facing online harassment and you can find more information from their dedicated page
