The Use of Time Mechanics in Game Design

For this cast, I spoke with returning guest John Brieger and speedrunner/designer Vincent to discuss how time can be used as a game mechanic in design. We, of course, talked about Majora’s Mask and the groundhog day design.

From there, we spoke about John and Vincent’s board game they’re designing together: Chrono Corsairs. An update from John is that the game’s release has been pushed back to February 2020.
