Why Platform Exclusivity Hurts Game Developers

Critical Thought

With the recent announcement of platform exclusivity features in Marvel’s Avengers, I wanted to talk about how platform exclusivity hurts games, and the benefits of making features and games available to everyone.

Well it is quite an intense topic. As a game developer I face many problem for platform. The main problem is authenticity. Suppose I made a game for Android, When my user want that game for windows, I have to hire some team to do the task. However, I don’t know why their work never satisfy my imagination. I mean how can you convert a game that is made for android to windows!! Thanks from Guide for PC for raising a topic like this

Can’t agree more. I feel the same way. I will write something about it in my website. About being a solo game developer and how tough it is.

      Hi Adam.
So how do you deal with it? This is annoying right. Seeing your ideas right in front of you. Your website is awesome is too. As a fellow game developer, I’m just curious about your opinion.
