Game-Wisdom Examines: The Darkest Dungeon

Role-playing survival game is willing to take risks

This week I decided to play through the Darkest Dungeon or play as long as I could while showing off the early game systems and meta game progression. The live stream was so long that the video was split into two parts which you can see below. Unfortunately there was a problem with how the game was reacting to the streaming software and I couldn’t get it displayed properly which was a shame. Hopefully if they can get this straighten out, I can do a lot more streams of Darkest Dungeon as it’s a great game to watch someone play and see if they survive.     There are some streaming tweaks and fixes in there.

    • I tried the windowed mode and that didn’t do the trick, no matter what, everything is being shifted to the right. Unless I go with the super zoomed in version at the higher resolution. And yes I’m loving the game too and desperately trying not to play it so I don’t burn out on it.

    • I just got a response from the developer and putting -capture in worked so I’m going to be able to livestream this more.

        Nice! I’ve put in 30+ hours so far and am still loving it and don’t even have a lvl 5 character yet. Really looking forward to the expanding content!
